How do I connect QuickBooks to Dewx?

In Dewx, go to Integrations and select QuickBooks. Click "Connect" and you'll be redirected to Intuit's OAuth authorization page. After granting permission, Dewx performs an initial sync of your customers, invoices, and accounts. The full setup takes under 3 minutes.

Is the sync between Dewx and QuickBooks two-way?

Yes, the QuickBooks integration is fully bidirectional. Invoices created in Dewx sync to QuickBooks, and invoices created directly in QuickBooks appear in Dewx. The same applies to contacts, expenses, and payments — both systems stay in sync automatically.

Does this work with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop?

The Dewx integration currently supports QuickBooks Online (all tiers: Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, and Advanced). QuickBooks Desktop support is on the roadmap. If you're on Desktop, we recommend migrating to QuickBooks Online to take advantage of the integration.

Can Dewx automatically categorize my expenses in QuickBooks?

Yes. When you log expenses in Dewx, you select a category that maps directly to your QuickBooks chart of accounts. For recurring vendor expenses, Dewx remembers the category and auto-suggests it — reducing manual categorization to near zero.
