What I learned running real client work
Five years of running client work taught me three things that turned into the foundations of Dewx.
Most of the daily grind is repeatable
Researching prospects, drafting outreach, following up on threads, categorizing transactions, answering the same fifteen support questions — the daily workload is a stack of near-identical motions. The creative work that needs a human is a small slice on top.
AI employees do well exactly where the work is repeatable. That is why we built named employees for outreach, content, finance, and support — each one scoped to a real job rather than pretending to be a generic genius.
Founders don't want autonomy, they want leverage
When I asked founders what they actually wanted from “AI doing the work,” nobody asked for autonomous agents. Everyone asked for drafts. They wanted to glance, approve, and move on — not hand over the wheel.
