Website Grader

The website grader evaluates four key areas: SEO (meta tags, headings, sitemaps, structured data), Performance (image optimization, minification, CDN usage, lazy loading), Security (HTTPS, security headers, mixed content), and Content (blog presence, CTAs, about page, contact information). Each area is weighted to produce an overall score out of 100.

Each checklist item has a weight based on its importance. SEO and Performance items carry the most weight (3-4 points each), Security items are worth about 3 points each, and Content items are 2-3 points each. Your total weighted score is normalized to a 0-100 scale. The more best practices you follow, the higher your score.

A score of 85 or above is considered Excellent, meaning your site follows most best practices. 65-84 is Good but has room for improvement. 40-64 is Fair and means your site is missing important optimizations. Below 40 is Poor and indicates significant issues that could hurt your search rankings, user experience, and security.

Start with the highest-impact items: add meta titles and descriptions to every page, ensure your site uses HTTPS, optimize images for faster loading, and make sure your site is mobile-responsive.
