Dewx connects to SharePoint via Microsoft Graph API. Once authorized with your Microsoft 365 account, you can browse sites, access document libraries, and search across all SharePoint content from your Dewx workspace.
Do I need admin permissions to set up the integration?
Basic setup requires only your Microsoft 365 user account. However, for organization-wide deployment with full site access, a tenant admin may need to approve the application consent.
Are SharePoint permissions respected in Dewx?
Yes, absolutely. Dewx respects all SharePoint permissions and security policies. Users can only access the same sites and documents they have permission to view in SharePoint directly.
Can I edit SharePoint documents from Dewx?
You can preview documents and open them in their native Microsoft 365 editors (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) directly from Dewx. Changes sync back to SharePoint automatically.
Does it work with SharePoint on-premises?
The integration currently supports SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365). SharePoint on-premises support requires a hybrid configuration with Microsoft 365.
