First launch
Unzip, drag DewLink to Applications, then right-click the app and choose Open the first time. macOS asks once because this build is signed directly by us rather than notarized through Apple - I would rather tell you that plainly than hide it. Verify the checksum above if you want certainty about what you downloaded.
Reads open, writes gated
It can read what you allow it to read. Anything that writes or sends waits in the approval queue - the same gate the rest of the system uses.
Part of the install
DewLink is one piece of a Dewx engagement, set up with you during install days 1-7. It is not a standalone product you have to configure alone.
