Cookie policy

This page covers dewx.com, this website. The Dewx app at dewx.ai has its own cookie notice.

Google Analytics, only if you say yes

On your first visit a small box asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads until you answer.

• Accept: we load Google Analytics 4. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_*, which tell one visit from another and last up to two years. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. Advertising signals stay off. We run no ads and no ad pixels.
• Decline: Google Analytics does not load and no Google cookie is set. The site works the same.
• Change your mind: press "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. If you switch to Decline, we turn Google Analytics off and delete its cookies.

Visit counts without cookies

We also count visits with our own tools, which set no cookies and give you no ID. We run Umami on our own server (analytics.dewx.com) and a small counter of our own. They record which pages are viewed, which buttons are pressed, the site that sent you, your browser's language and time zone, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. Umami skips browsers that send Do Not Track. The privacy page says more.

Without your yes, no cookies

This site sets no cookie unless you press Accept.

Your answer in the cookie box is kept in your browser's local storage as dewx-cookie-consent. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to us.

Removing cookies

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Google also offers a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics on every site.
