Privacy on this website

dewx.com is run by Prospect Engine LLC, a Texas limited liability company, and this page explains what the website records when you visit. The Dewx app at dewx.ai has its own privacy policy. That policy also covers the early access form on this site, because the form sends your details to the app.

Who we are

Prospect Engine LLC (Texas SOS file 0805163018) decides what this site collects and why. Write to roki@dewx.com with any privacy question. We reply within 5 business days.

What we count on every visit

We count visits with Umami, which we run on our own server at analytics.dewx.com, and with a small counter of our own. They record the page you view, the buttons you press, the site that sent you, your browser's language and time zone, and whether you use a phone, tablet or computer. Umami also works out your country, browser, operating system and screen size.

Neither one sets a cookie, gives you an ID or keeps your IP address. Umami skips browsers that send Do Not Track. We do this to learn which pages help people. The data stays on our server and no other company sees it.

Server logs

Our web server keeps a standard access log: your IP address, the page asked for, the time and your browser. We use it to stop abuse and fix faults. It is deleted within 7 days.

Google Analytics, only after you press Accept

Google Analytics loads only if you press Accept in the cookie box. If you decline, or never answer, nothing is sent to Google. After Accept, Google receives:

• the pages you view and the site that sent you
• your browser's language and time zone
• your device, browser and screen size
• your approximate location, which Google works out from your IP address
• a random ID kept in the _ga cookies, so it can tell one visit from another

Our legal basis is your consent. Google LLC processes this data in the United States, under its privacy policy. Google deletes the data for each visit after 2 months. Totals in its reports, such as how many people viewed a page, stay without your ID. Advertising signals are off, and we run no ads.

Changing your mind

Press "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page and choose Decline. We turn Google Analytics off and delete its cookies. What was sent before that stays with Google for the 2 months above. The cookie policy lists every cookie this site can set.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. The counters above hold nothing that names you, so there is usually nothing to find. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
