JSON Formatter & Validator

A JSON formatter is a tool that automatically formats (beautifies) JSON data into a human-readable structure with proper indentation and line breaks. It makes it easier to read, debug, and understand JSON data structures. The Dewx JSON Formatter also validates your JSON in real-time and provides statistics about your data.

Simply paste or type your JSON into the input area. The validator runs automatically as you type (with a short delay). If your JSON is valid, you will see a green "Valid JSON" indicator. If there are errors, you will see a red "Invalid JSON" message with details about what went wrong and where.

Format (beautify) adds proper indentation, line breaks, and spacing to make JSON readable by humans. Minify does the opposite: it removes all unnecessary whitespace to make the JSON as compact as possible, which is useful for reducing file size when transmitting data over networks or storing in databases.

Yes. The Dewx JSON Formatter supports three indentation options: 2 spaces (default), 4 spaces, or tabs. You can switch between these options using the indent selector before formatting your JSON. Choose whichever style matches your coding standards or personal preference.
